I learned the art of Hopi Overlay Jewelry in the late 1970's here on Hopi. At the time I worked on this as a full time Artisan but left it after 10 yrs for full time employment. In 2017 I retired from employment and went back to jewelry making and now, I am once again creating Hopi Overlay jewelry full time. I attend about 3 or 4 arts and craft markets per year in New Mexico and in Arizona. All of my creations of designs are from my religious and cultural heritage. As well as from my environment as I tend my cornfield from Spring throughout the growing season untill the harvest. Nature gives me clear perspective and inspirations for my creations of various jewelry.
